Currently, I am an adjunct professor at National College where I teach Intro. to Public Speaking. In December of 2009 I graduated from The University of Akron with a Master of Arts in Communication. Besides the traditional coursework, I completed an editorial internship with Akron Life and Leisure Magazine where I honed my writing and editing skills, learned about the editorial and production process, and practiced both news reporting and long form feature writing. My experience culminated with a cover story in the October 2007 edition on Dan Dahl, Executive Director of E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall.

My thesis, You@Akron, is an online, independent magazine aimed at helping college students and Akron area residents transcend the tumultuous twenty-something years of retail jobs and college classes to the corporate world.
